Be Health and Life Wellness is a Perth-based mental health clinic offering a holistic, client-centred approach through a multidisciplinary team of counsellors, psychologists, psychotherapists and exercise practitioners. Their focus is on integrated care, practical mental-wellness support and personalised pathways that help clients move toward their goals with clarity and confidence. Founded by Laura, whose background as a lawyer gave her deep insight into the hidden struggles people carry, the clinic is built on compassion, genuine support and the belief that everyone deserves the chance to reconnect with their authentic selves and begin the journey back to who they truly are. Capture the journey of personal growth and wellness, using a ‘yellow brick road’ analogy to reflect the supportive, compassionate guidance offered to men, women, and families.
The goal of this illustration project is to create captivating visuals for Be Life’s landing page, embodying the theme of a “yellow brick road” to symbolise the transformative journey of the Be Life process. These illustrations will also be repurposed for social media, printed signage and murals, lead magnets, and other promotional materials.
The main illustration will feature a prominent “yellow brick road” winding through a vibrant landscape, representing the journey towards holistic wellness and personal growth.
In addition to the main illustration, there will be smaller sub-illustrations to accompany the values section of the landing page. Compassionate, Uplifting Courageous, Refined, Curious.

Visual Language System: Developed a cohesive illustration system centered on the “yellow brick road” metaphor, creating main and sub-illustrations that convey guidance, growth, and self-discovery for men, women, and families.
Visual Cohesion: Ensured a consistent look and feel across the landing page, social media, print signage, and reinforcing Be Life’s brand identity and fostering emotional connection.
Visual Creative Direction: Guided the project with a storytelling approach, using the “journey along the yellow brick road” and '“humpty dumpty” analogy to symbolise transformation, hope, and personal empowerment, ensuring each illustration communicates a sense of progress, courage, and support.
Repurposed: Designed flexible assets that can be adapted for other collateral providing a visual foundation that grows with Be Life’s programs and audience needs.
