The ISTD (International Society of Typographic Design) brief was to celebrate the life's work of a craft person from a local area. To tell us their story, through their words (and images). The publication must be special - and should pay homage not to the craft but to the personal story behind them. The topic I choose was handcrafted gelato, based on the story of Gusto Gelato owner and galetician Sean Lee who quit the corporate world and went to the Gelato University in Italy. The publication and poster were printed on Splendogel stock as the colours have a crisp look with the cover page of the publication Splendogel embossed stock. The poster is based on what flavour you should pick based on your current mood.
Magnify Photography requested to have re-branding done for there photography business. They wanted a logo suite and watermark done, including other branding elements. The watermark is applied to the photographs to be used essentially like a copyright symbol, plus their social media was re-branded with the new style. Whilst designing the logo, they stipulated that they wanted to use a feather and more rose gold colours. The concept behind the logo is to have a modern theme with a sense of a real relaxed warm feeling, the colour and mood board was inspired by a beautifully decorated bar and restaurant in Perth called Henry Summer. As Magnify Photography is run by a beautiful husband and wife, I feel like the green represents the male component but still compliments the rose gold colour which represents the female component. When I got told about the requirement to have a feather in the logo, it made me think of gentleness as well as when I was a kid or even today, if I see a feather it’s usually in an unexpected location, but it’s like it’s been left as a token or a mark. So to me Magnify Photography leaves a gentle mark to family and friends.
Requested to create artwork for Posters and Social Media platforms for the Ellenbrook Arts City of Swan Youth Event Program Coordinators. The Youth Program is for the whole year and each event or competition requires artwork.
After attending a workshop with the Youth Ambassadors of the City of Swan to present various design concepts taking into consideration what the young demographic tastes and preferences are while still keeping costs low. Based on that workshops feedback a style was preferred, which was a combination of using illustration/animation with collage style, plus script typeface.

Designed and created graphic design elements for CRC Australia. Shown is an example of promotional material for the Women's Morning Tea that is organised on the same day as Australia's Biggest Morning Tea. CRC Australia wanted yellow and pink theme colours while having a similar look to the Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea branding.

A local florist requested logo, stationery, branding and a website for her new business, Alta's Flowers. This also included setting up social media accounts, mail-chimp, Google Adwords and Analytics. The main target audience is north of Perth aiming to those who purchase bouquets, flowers or is a bride to be for wedding arrangements. The client wanted it simple, to incorporate Peonies as part of her logo, as well as a script typeface. Therefore, I incorporated black and white sketching of Peonies with coloured to add a bit of intrigue to the simple logo. The typeface chosen goes well with the hand-sketched black and white part of the logo. The typeface, Alta's Flowers is circled around to flow with the hand sketching. The website is to keep it simple, with an e-commerce aspect.

Unicef Australia has organised fundraising Tennis challenge with top tennis players from around the world with all the ticket sales proceeds going to Unicef. As an avid Tennis fan, I thought of the target audience of this event, who would most likely be interested in the tennis players, with the Unicef donation as a secondary focus. Therefore, the concept was to emphasise the expressions and emotions through dramatic movement and splashes of the tennis players, while incorporating their persona, for example, Rafal Nadal is Spanish and very passionate, whereas Federer is Swiss, cool, calm and collect. Along with branding the event, posters, banner designs and publication material were designed.
